5 Easy Whole 30 Lunch Ideas

| |

When you start a round of Whole30, you end up doing a lot of cooking. The program is based around fresh, real food so you have to put some extra work into your meals. But there are some quick and easy options that I love for lunch and I wanted to share them with you to help make your 30 days easier!

Lettuce Wraps

I love lettuce wraps for lunch. They are so easy but there are so many ways to boost the flavor. The top picture is my take on an Italian sub sandwich and it is SO good. The most important thing with this one is to check your labels. Applegate has my favorite Whole30 deli meats. I used Teri from No Crumbs Left marinated onion recipe (you have to try them!).

This is my take on a BLT and it is so yummy. I used Applegate turkey and turkey bacon in this wrap, but I also love Pederson’s Farms and Garret Valley bacon (both are compliant). Then I layered with avocado, cherry tomatoes, and Tessemae’s ranch.

Protein Plates/Boxes

I love to make these for a super quick and light lunch when I am not feeling super hungry. I will make a plate when I am home or a to-go box when I am going to be on the run. My kids love these too so it is a great option when we go to the park or plan on being out all day.

Chicken Salad

I love chicken salad! My Easy Shredded Chicken Salad reminds me of my favorite Costco version! And my Curry Chicken Salad is a fun way to switch up the flavors. I eat both of these straight out of the bowl or serve them over some lettuce to boost my intake of fresh greens.

Meal Prepped Lunches

These flavor packed Greek Turkey Meatball Meal Prep Bowls are a favorite of my husbands. He loves to have these ready in the fridge to grab for his work lunch in the mornings.

Egg Salad

I feel like egg salad doesn’t get enough love. It is so simple but so tasty! It comes together in no time at all, especially if you make your hard-boiled eggs in the Instant Pot. I love to roll my egg salad up in a lettuce wrap. It is so creamy and delicious.

One last note, don’t forget about leftovers! I love having leftovers for lunch, especially if I cooked a bomb recipe the night before. Here are some recipes that make the BEST leftovers….

Sweet Potato Chili

Buffalo Chicken Casserole

Instant Pot Indian Butter Chicken
