This Air Fryer Chicken Breast is so flavorful, you will love every bite! The balsamic marinade is easy to make and helps keep the chicken so juicy. Your Air Fryer cooks the chicken in under 20 minutes, so you can have dinner on the table in no time at all.

What You Need:
- Chicken Breasts – 6 to 8 oz each
- Balsamic Vinegar
- Coconut Aminos – this is a soy sauce alternative. You can use Tamari (gluten free soy sauce) but it is not Whole30 compliant if you are doing a round.
- Lemon Juice
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Dried Oregano
- Avocado Oil Spray
- Pepper

Let’s Make Air Fryer Chicken Breasts:
- Add the balsamic vinegar, coconut aminos, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano to a small mixing bowl and whisk together.
- Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over top. Let the chicken sit in the marinade for at least 30 minutes to an hour (I like to flip it halfway through).
- When the chicken is done marinating, take the chicken out of the marinade and season with pepper on both sides
- Place the chicken in the Air Fryer basket and spray with avocado oil spray. Set temp to 360 and timer for 15 minutes. Cook time is between 15-18 minutes (flip chicken at 10 minutes)
- Check the internal temp, it should be 165′ when fully cooked. They might take longer to cook if you have larger chicken breasts.

Recipe Tips:
- Be careful not to over cook your chicken – if your the chicken breasts are on the smaller side, check at 13 minutes
- Serve with some of these delicious side dishes

This recipe is AMAZING! I hate cooking chicken and this was the best chicken breast I’ve ever had. Thanks so much!!!
Hi Grace, I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed the recipe. Thank you for coming back to write a review 🙂
This looks really good, I’m looking forward to trying it. Have you ever prepped ahead and left the chicken in the marinade over night? Would that work?
I’m wondering the same thing! Has anyone tried prepping a day ahead and leaving it in the marinade overnight??
I’d back off a little bit on the vinegar and lemon juice. Otherwise over all flavorful and good .
Very tasty recipe, will definitely be making this again, thank youn
Truly so easy and so good! It’s definitely a new go to dinner. Ate mine with salad and homemade greek dressing.
Excellent flavor and tenderness of chicken. Will make again!
Want to try this, but how is this recipe 20 net carbs?
Hi Lisa, the nutrition facts are auto-calculated and I believe it shows that high of carbs because of the balsamic vinegar. But obviously you don’t consume that much because it is a marinade. I will try to calculate myself and adjust. I hope you try it and enjoy the recipe!
This has become a weekly staple for us! The chicken turns out perfectly every time – so flavorful and juicy with the perfect char. We like to double the marinade and make enough for leftovers!
I normally hate cooking chicken, but this was so easy and delicious. I was shocked I was able to make juicy chicken at home! Also the flavor will really go with any side.
I made this for dinner last night. I made it with thighs… oh my gosh!! So good. I love how it is gets the a charcoalness to it! I will definitely be making again.
Where do I find coconut aminos?
Trader Joe’s!
So good! I made 3 pieces with the marinade so I could have some leftovers fit salads during the week. This was such an easy recipe. I did substitute coconut aminos for the soy sauce. They cooked up very well in the air fryer—surprisingly juicy!
