Creamy, crunchy and spiced up. This coleslaw will be your new favorite side dish. It is so easy to throw together but it is absolutely loaded with flavor! Enjoy it with your favorite BBQ for the perfect meal.
I grew up in Arizona, so I love including southwestern flavors in my dishes. The cilantro, lime and jalapeño add so much depth of flavor to this coleslaw. Our favorite way to eat this is with my Instant Pot BBQ Pulled Pork. It is a hit with the family every time I make this combination.
This recipe is so easy, I don’t have a lot of tips except that it is best when made a little bit in advance. I recommend at least 30 minutes in advance. This way you can let the flavors meld together for a bit. I always taste for salt and pepper before serving too.

Whole30 + Keto Southwestern Coleslaw
Ingredients
- 16 oz Bag of Coleslaw Mix
- 1/2 cup Cilantro chopped
- 1/4 cup Red Onion diced
- 1 Jalapeno sliced
- 1 cup Mayo
- 1 tsp Hot Sauce
- 2 Tbls Lime Juice about 2 small limes
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl add the mayo, hot sauce, lime juice and salt and pepper. Mix together with a whisk. Then add in the remaining ingredients and toss together with the dressingLet sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes and then taste for salt and pepper before serving
