Ingredients

  • 16 oz Bag of Coleslaw Mix
  • 1 cup Mayo
  • 1 tsp Hot Sauce
  • 2 Tbls Lime Juice about 2 small limes
  • 2 Tbls Honey
  • 1/2 cup Cilantro chopped
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion diced
  • 1 Jalapeno seeded & diced
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper

Instructions

  • Add the mayo, hot sauce, lime juice and honey to a small bowl and whisk until smooth and fully combined
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, jalapeño, red onion and cilantro. Pour the dressing over top and season with salt and pepper.
  • Toss together to coat the slaw with the dressing, taste for seasoning and add more salt and pepper if needed
Let sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure you leave time for this dish to sit in the fridge, this helps the flavors develop and coleslaw is best when served chilled. I even like to prep it the day before.
  • It can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
