Ingredients
16oz Bag of Coleslaw Mix
1cupMayo
1tspHot Sauce
2TblsLime Juiceabout 2 small limes
2TblsHoney
1/2cupCilantro chopped
1/4cupRed Oniondiced
1Jalapenoseeded & diced
1/4tspSalt
1/4tspPepper
Instructions
Add the mayo, hot sauce, lime juice and honey to a small bowl and whisk until smooth and fully combined
In a large mixing bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, jalapeño, red onion and cilantro. Pour the dressing over top and season with salt and pepper.
Toss together to coat the slaw with the dressing, taste for seasoning and add more salt and pepper if neededLet sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving and enjoy!
Notes
Make sure you leave time for this dish to sit in the fridge, this helps the flavors develop and coleslaw is best when served chilled. I even like to prep it the day before.
It can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
