Gluten Free Peanut Butter Protein Bites

These peanut butter protein bites are gluten free and so yummy! They taste like dessert but give you a boost of protein. Enjoy them after a workout or when you need a sweet treat. Everyone in the family is sure to want this snack.

What You Need:

  • Gluten Free Oats – we use Bob’s Red Mill old fashioned oats
  • Peanut Butter
  • Honey – can also use maple syrup
  • Vanilla Protein Powder
  • Gluten Free Chocolate Chips – we love Enjoy Life
  • Sea Salt

Let’s Make Protein Bites:

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a mixing bowl and use rubber spatula to fully combine
  2. Use small cookie dough scoop to scoop out mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet
  3. Roll into balls and place the baking sheet in the fridge to chill the bites for at least 15-20 minutes to let them firm up
  4. Then store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or the freezer for up to 3 months

Recipe Notes:

  • Add in some chia seeds for an added fiber and protein boost
  • Change it up by adding some spices, like cinnamon
  • I like a little extra flakey sea salt on top of my protein bites, try it!
  • You could also try chocolate protein powder to make these bites extra decadent
  • You can also sub almond butter or sun butter for a nut free option
