Whole30 Buffalo Ranch Turkey Burgers

| | | | | |

We make burgers all the time, all year round. I love trying to switch up the flavors and create new family favorites. These buffalo ranch turkey burgers came out even better than I had imagined. They are juicy, flavorful and only call for a few ingredients! You are going to want these on your menu for sure.

These incredible burgers only call for 5 ingredients and they cook in no time at all. The turkey lends itself well to the strong flavors of the ranch and hot sauce, but feel free to use ground beef as well. And as for that buffalo ranch sauce. Not only is it in the burger, but also lathered over the top! You guys IT IS SO GOOD. To keep it Whole30 compliant, I use Franks Red Hot sauce mixed with either Tessemae’s or Primal Kitchen ranch.

I like to keep the toppings pretty simple for this recipe so that the buffalo flavor stands out. I personally have to have avocado and red onion, while my husband loves fresh tomato. You pick what you like best. We have enjoyed these burgers in a lettuce wrap and on gluten free buns (not Whole30) and they are perfect either way. These will be a family favorite in no time at all!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Ground Turkey
  • 1/2 cup Franks Red Hot Sauce divided
  • 3/4 cup Ranch divided
  • 2 Tbls Green Onion
  • 1/4 tsp Dried Dill

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add in the ground turkey, 1/4 cup of hot sauce, 1/4 cup of ranch, dill and green onions. Use hands to mix, but don't over-mix.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal patties and season the top with salt and pepper
  • Heat 2Tbls of oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium heat. Once the skillet is hot, add the patties. Cook for 7-10 minutes on each side or until full cooked through (since it is turkey, you don't want them to be rare at all)
  • Mix the remaining hot sauce and ranch in a small bowl. Serve the burgers in a lettuce wrap with toppings of choice and buffalo ranch sauce
