Recipe Notes

  • This soup can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. I do not recommend freezing it because the texture of the potatoes will change when thawed
  • To reheat the soup, I prefer to warm it up on the stovetop over low heat
  • I love to serve this soup with fresh sliced sourdough bread to help soak up that delicious broth

  1. I’m curious, could I do this in a crock pot? Sauté everything, and then after combining everything in the pot just like leave it on low for several hours? Like overnight or something? I have a crockpot with a sauté function that I never get to use.

Absolutely delicious. I had wanted to add some Leeks I had from the garden but forgot to add them. This is a keeper “as is”. Thank you very much for the recipe.

This was amazing. Everyone loved it! I used turkey kielbasa. When looking through all the different recipes out there I saw you used dill. My go to spice. Thanks for the great recipe.

Deeeelicious! I “might” have added more onion than called for, but the recipe is vague about what size onion should be used. The only other thing I added was some dried parsley.
To me, this soup is delicious just as is.
    Enjoy!
