This delicious healthy green smoothie has the perfect combination of mango & banana with creamy avocado and a pop of citrus from the lemon. The spinach adds an extra boost of nutrition, but doesn’t change the taste. It is a hit with my family!
I came up with this recipe because I am pregnant with my third and the morning sickness has been rough. I needed something that was cold (it really helps) but that also had a good boost of nutrients. The fruit adds a nice sweetness, the spinach helps me get some greens in and the avocado is the perfect way to make it creamy and add some healthy fat.
I recently got a Vitamix when it was on sale and I am in LOVE. It blends my smoothie perfectly. Any blender will work, but I highly recommend it. It is the best blender I have ever had.
For the liquid in the smoothie, I use almond milk. But you can use whatever liquid you prefer. If I am looking for an added boost of protein, I like to add collagen peptides. They don’t add any flavor.

Healthy Green Smoothie
- 2 cups Fresh Spinach
- 1 Banana
- 1 cup Frozen Mango
- 1.5 cups Almond Milk
- 1/2 Avocado
- 1/2 Lemon juiced
- Add all of the ingredients to the belnder and blend on high until smoothYou can add ice if it needs to be colder Serve in two glasses and enjoy!
