Benefits of Juicing:
- It is a delicious way to add more fruits and vegetables into your diet. I like to use fresh juices in addition to eating lots of fruits and veggies in my regular diet.
- Adding ingredients like greens, ginger and lemon help boost your immunity
- Can be known to help restore healthy gut bacteria – good for the digestive system
- The ingredients in these juices are great for hair, skin and nail health

What You Need:
- Juicer – I have been using and loving this Breville juicer for almost 10 years
- Storage Jars – these Weck Jars are my favorite to use or these Juice Jars
- Fruit/Veggie Wash – I use Branch Basics concentrate to wash my produce. 1 Tbls concentrate for a sink of water and let the fruit and veggies soak in it for 5 minutes, then rinse and air dry (use code TBB for 15% off all starter kits)
- Produce
- Beets
- Carrots
- Green Apples
- Ginger
- Lemon
- Spinach or Kale
- Cucumber
- Pears
- Oranges

Juicing Tips:
- You get the best flavor and most nutritional value from your fresh juice when you enjoy within 48 hrs of making but can last up to 5 days when properly stored
- Wash and prep all your fruits and veggies for all the juices before you get started. It makes for a much smoother process (like I mentioned above, I use Branch Basics concentrate to was my produce)
- Your juicer will have a container that catches the pulp as you juice, be sure to line this with a plastic bag for easier cleanup!
- I always wear an apron or older clothes when I make juice because it can get a little messy, especially when you are working with beets (they can stain) Beets will stain your hands as well, so you can wear gloves if you prefer
- Thoroughly clean your juicer and let dry before storing to keep it in good condition and ready for the next time
- Experiment with different flavors! Use produce that is in season to create all kinds of delicious concoctions

The article you wrote was excellent, and I appreciate you writing it. In addition to boosting our immune system, the juices above are good for our body.
Thanks again!
YES! I have been doing this for some time now, with focus on Beets, Carrots and Green Apples. (At least 5 days per week) And what it has done for me in terms of energy.. blood pressure.. joint health.. clarity of mind.. has been the difference between night and day. It is THAT noticeable. (and I use the same machine, too!)
Thank you for this post. Yes, it’s a little bit of work to keep the machine clean and in order, but the benefits FAR outweigh the inconvenience.
All the best!
