  • 1 Tbls Butter
  • 1/4 cup Yellow Onion diced
  • 5 Eggs
  • 1 cup Half N Half
  • 1 cup Diced Ham
  • 1/2 cup Asparagus chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Add the butter to a small skillet over medium heat and add the diced onion - cook until just translucent (about 5 minutes)
Set the cooked onion aside to cool
  • Add the eggs, half n' half, salt and pepper to a small mixing bowl and whisk until fully combined
  • Add the diced ham, chopped asparagus, shredded cheese and cooled onion into the frozen deep dish pie crust - stir to combine together
  • Carefully pour the egg mixture over the top and gently stir to combine
  • Set the pie pan on a baking sheet in case of spilling and bake for about 40 minutes or until the center is just set
  • Remove from heat and let cool before slicing
Top with fresh chives and enjoy!

Notes

*Nutrition facts are auto calculated and can vary based on ingredients or brands used
  • I use a deep dish frozen pie crust for this recipe, you can find them in any grocery store in the frozen section. I like to use deep dish so there is enough room for all that delicious filling
  • You can store the cooked quiche in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days
  • The easiest way to reheat leftover quiche is in the microwave for about 45 seconds to a minute - you just want it warmed through or it could get rubbery
  • This is the perfect recipe to help use up that leftover Easter ham
