Ingredients
1Deep Dish Frozen Pie Crust
1TblsButter
1/4cupYellow Oniondiced
5Eggs
1cupHalf N Half
1cupDiced Ham
1/2cupAsparaguschopped
1cupGruyere Cheeseshredded
1/4tspSalt
1/8tspPepper
Fresh Chivessliced for topping
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
Add the butter to a small skillet over medium heat and add the diced onion - cook until just translucent (about 5 minutes)Set the cooked onion aside to cool
Add the eggs, half n' half, salt and pepper to a small mixing bowl and whisk until fully combined
Add the diced ham, chopped asparagus, shredded cheese and cooled onion into the frozen deep dish pie crust - stir to combine together
Carefully pour the egg mixture over the top and gently stir to combine
Set the pie pan on a baking sheet in case of spilling and bake for about 40 minutes or until the center is just set
Remove from heat and let cool before slicing Top with fresh chives and enjoy!

I use a deep dish frozen pie crust for this recipe, you can find them in any grocery store in the frozen section. I like to use deep dish so there is enough room for all that delicious filling
You can store the cooked quiche in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days
