Air Fryer Steak with Garlic Herb Butter

This Air Fryer Steak with Garlic Herb Butter is so easy but delicious. You can have a perfectly tender and juicy steak in no time at all.

Ingredients

  • 2 NY Strip Steaks about 1 lb each and 1 inch thick
  • 1 Tbls Avocado Oil or olive oil
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Garlic Herb Butter

  • 4 Tbls Unsalted Butter softened
  • 1 Tbls Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 1 Tbls Fresh Rosemary minced
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1/8 tsp Kosher Salt

Instructions

  • Place the softened butter in a small bowl and add in the herbs, garlic and salt. Mix together until well combined and let sit in the fridge while the steaks are cooking
  • Preheat air fryer to 400'F for 5 minutes
    Rub room temperature steaks with the oil and salt and pepper
    Once the air fryer is preheated, place the steak in the basket and set timer for 8* minutes, flip steak halfway through
    Once it is done, remove from the air fryer basket and let it rest for 10 minutes
    Top it with the herb butter and enjoy!

Notes

*The cook time will depend on the thickness of the steak and how you like it to be cooked. Mine was medium rare at 7-8 minutes. 
Steak - I get my steaks (all my meat) from ButcherBox. It is the BEST meat and it gets delivered right to my front door! I used NY Strip for this recipe and it turned out so well. You could also use Ribeyes.
Air Fryer - I use the PowerXL air fryer and I love it. I have had it for a few years and I use it all the time. It is easy to use and easy to clean.
