What I Eat in a Day – Week Five
Since I have shared that I am continuing on my 100 pound weight loss journey, many of you wanted to know what I eat. So I am showing what a full day of meals looks like for me right now. I am feeling amazing since I started and I hope this will motivate you to find what works for you.

*Please remember that this is what I am doing for me, it doesn’t mean it is what is right for you. I am not a dietician.
I talk more about my journey and the basics of my diet in this post, So I Gained All the Weight Back, Now What?
What I Eat in a Day for Weight Loss:
Coffee – 6:30 am I drink coffee every morning and I keep it very simple right now. I either use regular brewed coffee or my Nespresso and then I add some frothed Nutpods creamer on top. Nutpods is the only creamer I use, it is delicious and fits into almost any lifestyle (dairy free, Whole30, Paleo, keto)
Meal One – 11 am I was super busy this day, so I made a simple snack plate for lunch. I had True Story chicken breast ( I get mine from Sprouts), cottage cheese with everything bagel seasoning, gluten free crackers (Simple Mills), strawberries and snap peas. This is basically my version of a grown up lunchable lol.
Snack One – 1 pm This is my Lemon Blueberry Yogurt Parfait. I used plain, non-fat Greek Yogurt and did not add granola in mine.
Snack Two – 3 pm I let myself have one Chomps stick a day and I look forward to it so much. I keep almost all the flavors on hand because they are so good and they help keep me full. More reasons I love Chomps….
- Made with high quality ingredients (like grass fed beef)
- Low Fat & Low Calorie
- High Protein
- No added sugar
- Filler & Nitrate Free
Meal Two – 5 pm Like I mentioned earlier, I was super busy so I kept it simple with Air Fryer Chicken and green beans.
Dessert 6-7 pm I wasn’t hungry after dinner but I was craving a cocktail, so I made a mocktail instead! I used sparkling water, lemon juice, sliced lemons, strawberries and fresh mint. It was super yummy and refreshing.
It has been close to two weeks since I posted my last ‘What I Eat in a Day’ and overall things have been good. I am down another 4.9 lbs for a total of 24.1 lbs since March 1st. I shared on Instagram last week that I had a day when I really struggled and ate some things that I shouldn’t have. That was hard but I talked it out with my husband and sister and felt so much better. I also share tips of ‘What I do to Recover from a Binge Episode’ HERE.
I am feeling very encouraged about my progress and am so hopeful that I will finally lose this 100+ lbs. Everyday I am feeling more like myself. I notice more energy, more confidence, better sleep and I am much more comfortable in my clothes.
