TBB 60 Day Challenge
Hello my loves! As many of you know, I had weight loss surgery April, 2022, and I have been working so hard to build healthy habits ever since. Yes, even after surgery, I had to (and continue to) put in effort to change my lifestyle. These changes include focusing on a high protein diet, proper hydration, daily supplements and exercise. As we enter into the new year, I want to continue to push myself to have discipline even when I don’t feel motivated. So I thought I would create a 60 day challenge for myself and anyone else who wants to join.

What does the 60 day challenge look like?
This TBB 60 Day Challenge is about commitment and consistency and it can be customized to your individual goals. You can do this challenge whether you have weight to lose or not. You get to decide what you want to focus on. There will be some general goal recommendations but I also encourage you to add what you feel is best for your current lifestyle.

Goals:
- Hit your nutrition goals daily – for me, I am focusing on high protein and better nutrition with whole foods (really limiting processed foods)
- Drink at least 80 oz of water daily – I add Ultima electrolytes to one of my water bottles everyday for extra hydration
- Take supplements – supplements are extra important for bariatric patients, but they can also be so helpful to anyone who isn’t able to get everything they need from diet (most of us)
- Move your body daily for at least 30 minutes – this can be a step goal or whatever exercise you prefer ( I am focusing on increasing my daily steps and incorporating strength training)
- Do something for your soul daily – I am personally challenging myself to read the Bible in a year. I have always wanted to do this and I have yet to complete it. I am following along with a template provided by The Daily Grace Co.

Recipes/Meal Ideas:
I have hundreds of delicious, healthy, whole food based recipes on my site to help get you started with meal planning and recipe ideas. You can go to my Recipe Index and filter the recipes based on your specific dietary needs. I will be adding new recipes each week but will also be sharing a lot of what I eat over on Instagram.
