I am in the kitchen everyday. I love to cook but I also develop recipes for the blog, so I use these kitchen tools everyday. I have compiled a list of my essentials. I love these products and plan on updating this page as I find more great kitchen tools! You can click the pictures if you want to shop.
Lodge Cast Iron Skillet – I use my cast iron skillet almost every single day. It is not expensive but it will last you forever if you take proper care of it. I use it to cook eggs, pan roast veggies, cook meat at a high temperature and so much more. This is a kitchen must have.
Farberware Spiraletti – This is the exact one that I use to make zoodles and spiralized potatoes. It’s inexpensive, but it works well and I use mine all the time.
Rachel Ray Sheet Pans– I use sheet pans everyday, so these are another must have for me. I like to have different sizes because I use them for different things. I love to roast veggies, bake, and even cook bacon on them. I also like to make sure that I get ones with the edges so that liquid or fat doesn’t drip onto the bottom of my oven.
Le Creuset Dutch Oven – This is an investment piece, it is not cheap, but it is high quality and my favorite piece of kitchen equipment. This is the one that I have and I use it for soups, stews, braising meat, roasts etc. It is oven safe and so durable. I plan on passing this dish down to my daughter some day.
Cuisinart Cutlery – A good set of knives is essential. They can vary greatly in price. I personally cannot afford the more expensive sets, but I have these Cuisinart knives and I love them. I take proper care of them to ensure that they stay sharp.
Le Creuset French Press – My husband and I love french pressed coffee, it’s actually all we drink now. I got this Le Creuset french press for Christmas and I love it! It keeps the coffee so hot and it’s also beautiful 🙂
All Clad Pots and Pans – These pots and pans are also an investment. They are not cheap, but they are the best ones that I have ever used. They are made of high quality materials that don’t leach chemicals into your food. They are also made to retain heat which helps ensure even cooking.
Mixing Bowls – I use mixing bowls all day, everyday. They are great for so many things. I have way more than three of them though haha.
Glass Storage Containers – I started trying to switch to glass storage containers for our leftovers and food prep. I still have some plastic, but I much prefer the glass because it doesn’t stain or retain odors. They are also better for reheating because they don’t contain chemicals and they are oven safe.
Measuring Cups and Spoons – Another item that I use everyday and I prefer the stainless steel because they don’t warp in the dishwasher.
Cutting Boards – I like to have multiple cutting boards so that I can keep them separate for different things. I use one for meats, one for veggies and one for fruit.
Food Processor – I use my food processor to puree, chop, grind, pulse and more. It makes life so much easier. I use the one that my grandma passed down to me and I love it.
KitchenAid Stand Mixer – This kitchen equipment is a dream. I use it for so many things, especially since it has multiple attachments for making pasta, juicing, grinding meat etc. I have had mine for almost 10 years, I even dropped it once and it’s still in excellent condition.
Lodge Baking Dish – I feel like I don’t really need to explain this one haha, I use my baking dishes for tons of recipes! And Lodge makes such great quality pieces. I love that the heat is dispersed evenly for better baking.
CrockPot – I know that pretty much everyone is jumping on the Instant Pot bandwagon, but I am old school and love my crockpot. I can just toss the ingredients in, turn it on and dinner is ready when I get home. This is another one that I have had for ten years, and it has seen a lot of love but still runs like a champ.
Stasher Bags – Hey moms, how many ziplock baggies do you go through in one year? Well, these are reusable bags that can even be run through the dishwasher! You can store in them, freeze them, and steam food in them. Definitely a must have, think of all the money you will save.
Immersion Blender – I love my immersion blender. I use it to blend up my collagen coffee every morning. I also love that I can blend up a soup right in the pot. I used it to make my Potato Leek Soup
Kitchen Shears – These shears are a lifesaver, they make it so easy to trim the fat off of meat or cut right through a whole chicken!
