Healthy Gluten Free Lunch & Snack Ideas
I am constantly trying to think of healthy lunch and snack ideas for my family. Deli meat is always a go-to, but it can be hard to find an option that is made with good ingredients. Which is why I am so happy to partner with Garrett Valley Farms to talk about their brand new line of lunch meat! It is so delicious and it’s gluten free, free from antibiotics and humanely raised.

These new sliced deli meats just launched in Target stores throughout the Southeast which is so exciting! They will hopefully be launching in Targets across the country soon. You can request them to be carried in your local store too. The flavors are pictured below, the Virginia Brand Ham and the Smoked Turkey Breast are the favorites in our family.
Cucumber, Turkey & Tomato Sandwich
I started putting cucumbers on my sandwich when I was in Poland with my husband. They make these open faced sandwiches called Kapnapki and they are insanely delicious.
I found some gluten free sourdough bread, spread some dairy free cream cheese and then piled on the Garrett Valley Smoked Turkey Breast, sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, and fresh arugula.
Ham & Pickle Roll-Ups
The ham and pickle roll-ups are so easy to make and my kids love them for both a snack and lunch.
To make them, I lay out a piece of ham on a cutting board, spread some dairy free cream cheese and then lay a pickle slice in the middle. Roll them up and eat them like that or cut into cut little bites!
Turkey & Avocado Toast with Everything Seasoning
This is one of my personal favorite snacks! I take some gluten free bread and toast it lightly. Then I add some of the smoked turkey or Virginia ham from Garrett Valley Farms, some sliced fresh avocado and then a sprinkle of everything seasoning. Yum!
Turkey, Bacon & Avocado Wrap
A wrap is a great alternative to a sandwich when you want something different for lunch. I found some fun gluten free tortillas at Sprouts that are perfect for these wraps, but you can use your favorite.
I layered it with some of the Turkey Ham from Garrett Valley Farms, some turkey bacon from Garret Valley Farms, fresh sliced avocado and tomato. Then a fresh sprinkle of salt and pepper before rolling it up! So good. Add some mayo, mustard, or ranch to add some extra flavor and sauciness.
Make sure to save this to your Pinterest to have on hand when you need some healthy and gluten free lunch or snack ideas!

Can you recommend a good brand of dairy free cream cheese? And GF bread options? There are some really bad ones out there! I’d love to know which are your tried and true favorites!
